some news...

This story has felt long. This isnt the ending, at all. It's the end of the prologue, perhaps. It's been full of waiting and wishing and dreaming. Full of hope, as well as pain. We've shared bits and pieces with you all, and now, we are so excited to share this with you...
We're leaving next week for Uganda! This trip will be full of hearings/rulings/appointments/etc. All of which are necessary to bring Rinah home. We are going in faith that we will bring her home. But, how we would cherish prayers, of all who would, that everything goes smoothly!
We are very excited, she is very excited, and can we say thank you all, for the 100th time, for your excitement, support, and kindness towards us in this process! We appreciate it so much. It's been a long time since this story first began, and we have felt so supported and encouraged every day.
A little note to those who have given to us financially- every dollar has been used for flights and various fees. This was a huge help to us. Thank you, once again, for your generousity. We really would not be in this place without it. Also, some of the posters have been returned, as well as notes we sent. If you did not recieve yours, please let us know! We cant promise to get to it before we leave, but we can promise to do our best!

Hello,
I've just recently discovered your blog and I want to wish you good luck. Uganda is very dear to my heart, I've lived there and worked for an american NGO, constructing pedetrician clinics in Kabale and Kampala. I worked for several weeks in an orphanage and felt overwheled with love. The children were full of joy and friendly and eager to learn, live and overcome the difficulties life has brought them. I am happy for Rinah, she has found a familly and a home.
so happy for your family! be safe... sending love from the midwest!
wonderful! so excited for your family!
I have been waiting and waiting for this update. Every time my Google reader tells me there's a new post I click on it with wild hope that it's the one telling us you're going to get Rinah. I don't even know you, but I can't wait until you get to bring that little girl home. Good luck!
I've been meaning to send you a note/email to let you know that I received your thoughtful postcard for the longest time, but I've been so busy. I'm happy to hear that things are moving forward. Best of luck to the three of you.
