ginger soda recipe.
Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 3:44PM

a few people had asked for the recipe of the ginger soda i mentioned last week. it's super easy.
2tsp minced fresh ginger root.
1tbsp honey. (i like to use raw, unheated, local honey)
juice of 1 lemon. (or lime)
basically just combine the ingredients (which are really more or less according to taste) in a drinking glass and add soda water. i've been making bigger batches to have on hand or to serve at parties, too. it keeps well in a mason jar.
(ps. and thanks to beth for mentioning a ginger soda she made that spawned this one.)
(pps. thanks for all your really gracious and comforting words after the last post... means alot.)

Oh, that sounds delicious. I drank something similar yesterday, but with warm water. Your blog is really lovely and I've enjoyed reading about your adoption process. I send you my wishes!
it's kind of serendipitous that I found this recipe this morning. I think it will become a new summer staple.
