phase 1: the designer.

as we were fundraising for our adoption, we offered 75 hand printed prints specially designed by our awesome designer friend, matt wahl. we've loved his work for awhile, and when we were brainstorming about fundraising options, he came to mind almost immediately. to have someone we've known/has known us for a long while, who has a heart for uganda, and also who's work we really admire, was a little dream. and we're so grateful for his time and heart and thought that all went into making a print that is so dear to us. we left it all up to him- we just wanted it centered around the words 'whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully', as that is our prayer for all the kind people who are 'sowing' into our family. when he sent us the design, it was one of those things where you just know its so fitting. and love it. right away.

thanks, matt. and thanks to all of you who have been so generous to us. we are so blessed.

next up- photos/video of the rest of the process... :)
