my favorite type of morning.
Monday, January 17, 2011 at 11:27AM

we are completely overcome by gratefulness. thank you all for your support, already. through encouragement, donations, and words. we are amazed and touched.
the waiting can be hard. but we are trusting and praying and taking it a day at a time.
that smile makes it all worth it. and the support of friends, family, and kind souls make it sweet. thank you wont ever feel adequate, i do believe.

I literally got chills while I was watching your video about Rinah. Good luck to you in your journey of adoption! My prayers are with you even if my money cannot be.
Would it be alright with you if I posted your video on my blog?? I don't have a whole lot of readers, but the ones that do read have big hearts. :)

Dear Andrew & Carissa,
I viewed your video and your story, and I had to contribute. ♥ ♥ ♥ May God bless your family, and protect your little girl while she waits to be reunitied with you. May He keep you strong in this time of waiting. Know my thoughts and positive vibes are with you.
Love,
Amanda
I am so touched by your story. Your family is in my prayers. I hope that my small donation helps to bring Rinah home.
this is honestly such a beautiful thing you are doing. my thoughts and prayers are with your family and i really hope you get to bring her home so soon. i was wondering, carissa, what organization you went to uganda the first time with? going there is something i have been wanting to do for a long time. two years ago i served at an orphanage in nepal and it was one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. thank you for sharing.
